Greenwich Village
The tour will start in Washington Square, famous for its writers, artists, and university residents. We will also visit the site of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire of 1911, the tragedy that galvanized the labor movement in the United States. The tour will include a stroll through the streets of Greenwich Village to admire brick row houses from the early 19th century.
Questa visita inizierà a Washington Square, luogo rinominato per scrittori, artisti, ed i tanti residenti della New York University. Vedremo il luogo della tragedia occorsa il 25 Marzo del 1911 alla fabbrica Triangle Shirtwaist, che galvanizzò il movimento operaio negli Stati Uniti. Passeggermo poi per le stradine di Greenwich Village per ammirare infine le case a schiera dal inizio dell‘800.
