SoHo, Little Italy and Chinatown
The great 19th century commercial district that developed SOuth of HOuston Street is unique for the large number of cast-iron building façades that survive. Once the heart of manufacturing in New York, in later decades it became famous as the home to modern artists. Today SoHo is still a bustling commercial zone. The tour will continue through Little Italy and conclude in Chinatown.
SoHo, la grande zona commerciale che si sviluppò durante l’800 a sud della Houston Street (South of Houston), è rinomata per i numerosi palazzi con le facciate in ghisa.
